Materials needed: Car jack and jack stands, Wheel nut wrench, Replacement Brake Pads,  Caliper or large C-clamp,  hand tools/wrench depending on type of bolts used


TIPS: Always use jack stands as it will make the job easier and certainly more safer.

Inspect the brake rotors and if they are damaged or scored, you should also replace them.  Check the specs to determine the correct thickness, and if not within specs, replace.

Do not remove the brake line from the caliper, unless you are prepared to go thru the process of bleeding the brake lines.  If you open the brake line, you will allow air into it, and they will have to be bleed.

How To Know When To Change Your Brake Pads
